Cholera Update
The cholera outbreak his diminished in Bayonnais and the temporary medical clinic closed in early February, having seen more than 1,000 patients with 11 deaths. Our partners at OFCB provided a detailed accounting of all patients seen during the nearly three month period. The donations from World of God sponsors and other organizations made possible many saved lives, and enabled our brothers and sisters in Bayonnais to once again be The Hands of Christ to those less fortunate.Through your generosity, we have about $3,200 in medical donations remaining, and we plan to use this with a medical team from Myers Park UMC who has volunteered to provide a free medical examination for each of the 300 plus sponsored children.
